The Saturday after Thanksgiving in our house is dedicated to getting our Christmas tree. Every year we drive to the mountains to the same tree farm and pick out our most perfect Christmas tree. So magical and fun! This year we found out that our beloved tree farm had closed, so we selected a new one to try out. We added going to breakfast in our tree tradition and it was super fun!
After a belly full of delicious pancakes, we headed to the mountains.
SNOW! The boys were beyond excited to get their hands in the snow!
Santa was there too part of the reason I picked this tree farm). Our other tree farm had Santa too and it was always a big hit! Austin couldn't remember what he wanted when Santa asked him. I reminded him that he had asked for a camera! Then Santa gave him a sucker...score!
So when it was Asher's turn, and Santa asked him what he wanted, he said a sucker! Ha!
Well, turns out that we were going to have to wait in a super long line to board a wagon just to go find a tree. That's not quite our cup of tea and the boys were getting super restless. We decided to leave and try out another tree farm that we passed.
It was also crazy busy and the trees were not exactly the style we were looking for. It was fun to walk around in the snow, but we were all feeling defeated and tired.
We left the second tree farm empty handed and decided it was time to go to lunch. I'm not gonna lie, this girl can get hangry! Ha! So after lunch, we went a mile down the road from our house to a mom and pop tree farm and found the most perfect beautiful tree that ever there was!

No joke, it looked so much smaller outside in the big openness of the tree lot! Fast forward to inside our house...what I thought was a 8 foot tree is about 11 feet tall! Sorry honey, don't forget you love me when it's time to take it out!
