We decided to have a low key 4th of July since we were not sure how Austin would do with the big fireworks. We spent the late afternoon and evening at our friend's house. We grilled hot dogs, played games, roasted marshmallows for smores and had our own firework show for the kids. It was perfect! Austin loved every second of it. He is a big fan of the taste of smores, but NOT the mess. Austin HATES to be messy! He thought the fireworks were magnificent! He clapped after every single one and even yelled out "firecracker" on multiple occasions! We sure had a great night and made some fun new traditions for our family!
