On August 18th, we went with Viola and Carrie to visit their church out in the country and then headed to Boone, NC for lunch. We ate at the famous Daniel Boone Inn and then drove around the base of the mountains and through the Appalachian State University campus. It was a perfect day. You could feel that fall is starting to make it's way here!!
