On October 11, 2008, David and I went to the Dixie Classic Fair with our friends Sara and Steven. We had so much fun. The fair has been a tradition every year since I was just visiting Winston-Salem. We ate fried cheese and even a deep-fried Milky Way. I love the South!! Sara had never been on a Ferris Wheel before and she is very afraid of heights. She conquered her fear and didn't freak out too much until she saw the sign that said caution 125 ft drop!! Yikes. The picture of her smiling is as soon as we got on...we hadn't "taken off" yet. We also went to the petting zoo and saw lots of animals that I couldn't recognize. We watched the fireworks and then called it a night.
