Carnival

After we rested up, that afternoon we headed to a local carnival to check out some fun stuff for Austin. They had the cutest petting zoo with sheep, goats, chicken, pigs and a HUGE bunny! Austin loved trying to feed all the animals ONE piece of straw. He was the food nazi! haha. We then went to check out the rides and discovered that Austin was 1" too short to ride all of them except the carousel which he usually enjoys. I think the jet lag was setting in because once it started...so did the water works. Oh well. We continued to walk around and found a Ferris wheel that they said they would let him on! YAY! So Austin and Grandma ventured onto the Ferris wheel and he LOVED it! I guess my kid doesn't have a fear of heights...not sure if that's a good thing!? All the rides were great, but what he loved was the playground. He loves swinging from the bar above the slide (which makes my heart jump into my throat.) He did one more round of the petting zoo and then we were off to the pumpkin patch!Best ride ever! Let's see if I can make every one's heart stop by swinging on this bar....yep!
