This morning Sara and I were feeling brave so we decided to take the kids blueberry picking. The fields just opened on Saturday, which is later in the season. We knew we needed to go quick or all the blueberries would be gone! Luckily Mother Nature was smiling on us and the sun was out. The ground was wet from the crazy thunder storms from the night before, but we were not going to let that stop us!!
Austin had so much fun finding the bluest of the blueberries.
Asher had fun too!

As soon as Asher realized he could eat them, he would not stop!! I couldn't get him to stop eating all the blueberries which of course led to a major meltdown and him wanting to be held the rest of the time!!
Austin and Jess were picking blueberries for each other! It was very sweet!

Over 2 pounds of delicious blueberries! If you have never had a fresh picked blueberry before, what are you doing reading this? Stop what you are doing and run to the nearest blueberry farm and pick pick pick!!!

We LOVE this blueberry farm! This is the second year we have been and we wouldn't go anywhere else! They have some of the best blueberries and they are family owned and operated!!
After blueberry picking the girls came back to our house for some play time before lunch!

What a fun and hot day! Yay for summer! Stay tuned, Austin has his first swim lessons tonight and you know I will be taking pictures since I am his biggest fan!!
